[[[[[[[GREETINGS]]]]]]]]
Moppins Mail will be sporadic this summer. My show season has started and they are back to back with very few days in-between. Then my grandchildren are coming and bringing their parents with them J! I'm taking some time off to thoroughly enjoy the gurgles of my precious nine month old grandson and to submerge myself in the enchanted world of my 3 year old granddaughter. I'll write while I'm on the road but as I get a bit tired from the long hours please forgive me if my letters don't get out like they should - this one being an example.
I have some sad news and also a warning for those of you with young children. A friend, whose son is only four, recently was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. At this tender age, he must receive daily shots and test frequently each day. Cathy's doctor told her that one out of every 300 children are diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. When I asked her how a healthy child with no family history of diabetes could have this she said " the doctors are now associating dairy products with type 2 diabetes. That is the case with Matt."
I have suspected for a long time the extraordinary amount of hormones given to dairy cows has been one of the reasons for the rise of breast and other kinds of cancer as well as the increased consumption of soy. The association of soy to breast cancer has long been known and it's just one of those feelings I have about dairy products doing the same. No I do not have any scientific data to back that up so please just accept this as one of those gut feelings and it could be wrong.
Never would I have associated dairy products with diabetes and neither did Cathy. Nor did Cathy suspect diabetes until her mother noticed the unusually large amounts of water Matt was drinking. Matt received immediate treatment and is doing fine. If you are going to drink milk and eat dairy products please make sure the products are organic and the cows have been given no hormones or antibiotics. Containers must say hormone and antibiotic free. Just saying "organic" or "natural" can still mean the cows have been given both hormones and antibiotics.
There was a recent article in the Olympia, Washington newspaper about me and how I got rid of my hepatitis C viral load. I have hep C type 1, the most difficult of the hep C viruses to kill. http://www.apria.com/resources/0,2725,494-642220,00.html You never totally rid your body of hep C but you can get your viral load down to being non-detectable, which I did without taking the blasted Interferon shots that have killed a lot of people. I'm starting a book on my battle with hep C. It will include diet, exercise and a host of suggestions for treating not only hep C but cancer. I will go through step by step how I've also combated other physical problems without standard medical care. Yes I'm excited about the possibilities but particularly in being able to help others. Stay tuned!
If any of you knows someone with hep C and would like further information from me on how I treated this disease, please email me from my website. I receive a large amount of sp*m everyday so it's easy for me to over look a legitimate email. I've helped dozens of people who now have hope for a life without hep C or Interferon.
[[[[[[[TIMELY TIPS:
If you have missed any of my cleaning tip newsletters they are posted on my blog accessable from the front page of my website www.goclean.com.
I don't remember if I told you this nifty little trick or not. When you are out doing yard work and end up with dirt under your fingernails put the pressure nozzle on your garden hose set it to hard blast then run it under and around your nails. That little trick makes short work of cleaning hands. When I forget, the next three days are spent digging the dirt out from under my nails.
Speaking of clean hands, how many of you have taken my suggestion and slipped your soap slivers (dare you to say that 3 times quickly!) into the toes of an old pair of panty hose after cutting off the leg just above the knee then tied it (the cut side) around your outdoor faucet? Not only can you wash your hands without getting the sink dirty but oh is it handy for those of us who are barefoot maniacs and walk around our just watered gardens barefooted J
If you are like me and don't mind cleaning windows but the thought of hosing down and washing screens keeps you from tackling those windows - there is relief. Grab a dry sponge, use it dry then wipe away the dirt. This works quite well for RVs too! The dry sponge picks up all the dust and dirt turning that job into a 2 to 3 minute job per window. To clean the sponge, head outside with a piece of very fine sandpaper - yes and the sponge - then lightly sand the dirt off the surface. Those sponges are wonderful for cleaning fabric blinds as well.
How do you clean windows without streaks? First of all don't use newspaper. The pulp can scratch the window and it leaves your hands black. Grab a bottle of our Benya and our Windshield Wizzard. If you are using towels like our baby diaper cloths - they are not on the website yet but they are marvelous for dusting, windows and waxing your vehicles, Rvs etc - be sure to add white vinegar about ½ cup in top loading machines and 1/3 cup in front loaders - to remove all the soap residue. Otherwise the soap left in the towels will streak your windows.
It's far faster to clean the window framing at the sides and bottom by using foam paint brushes found at paint stores. They are thin enough to squeeze into those small runners. Purchase a dozen of those handy little gadgets because they make quick cleaning of several small areas such as vents, door louvers and the likes.
