Monthly Specials:
Summertime and the cleaning is easy especially if you have our wonderful duo of CleanEz and Benya. CleanEz is a powerful yet environmentally safe all purpose cleaner. It is formulated to remove carpet stains, clean showers and toilets, counter tops, boats, RVs, cars. It even removed fresh gum from the carpet of my truck! Benya's power comes full force when you clean your windows or black faced appliances without tall tale, ugly streaks glaring back at you. Yet it is one of the few products safe enough to clean Marble and Granite.
When you purchase both of these 32 ounce bottles, a $40.90 value, you will receive one of our dynamite heavy duty 4 pound half size hand terry towels (wonderful for cleaning around the stove or bathroom countertops) This $4 value is yours free when you order now.
BRAND NEW to Mary Moppins. On Friday, June 22 we will take delivery of our brand new 100% cotton diaper wiping cloths. These soft, gentle cloths are undeniably the best cloth for applying Advantage to your car, truck, motorcycle, RV or boat. Unlike terry towels that can leave an uneven coat on your vehicle, these unbeatable towels glide Advantage on then remove it even faster.
They sell by the dozen only and as everyone knows nothing makes a better dusting cloth than baby diaper material. Only diapers are extremely expensive running over $13 for only 8. We will retail ours for $14 a dozen or 6 for $8. Until the end of Jun this $14 value is on sale for $12. When you purchase them along with the offer for our Benya and CleanEz not only will you receive our half terry towel for free but the cost of our Diaper Cloths drops to only $11. This one time offer expires June 30.th
NOTE: The Diaper Cloths are not on my website as yet, so order the Swifter Towels then in the comment section let me know you want the Diaper Cloths and how many. The discount is good only for the full dozen. Or if you order the CleanEz and Benya, again tell me you wish to add the Diaper Cloths.
[[[[[[[GREETINGS]]]]]]]]
Thank you to everyone who wrote in with your kind words about this legal issue that blindsided me. It was shocking to hear so many of you have encountered the same problem. Only your stories are far more wrenching than mine. "Steve" worked hard to get my Advantage or his marine version "Leverage" to market and he sued me, his only supplier. I'm not sure what classes they are teaching in the boating industry but suing your only supplier usually is the fastest road to instant death of a business.
While I was throwing myself a major pity party, my sister asked me to come for my nephew's graduation. I heartedly accepted knowing that her beautiful, loving heart would be the best medicine for my aching spirit.
What I encountered had far more reaching effect than just healing my wounds. Nancy's partner "Marcos" and I started talking about our families one morning at breakfast. He shared with me the painful story of how his first wife left him with four children to raise. He described how he would come home from work to prepare dinner and attend to all the usual details of running a household. Meanwhile his children began sliding into an empty abyss refusing to join him for dinner and losing weight. Their grades were falling along with their spirits.
Knowing desperate measures needed to happen to ensure his children's survival he fell back on his natural instinct and remembered that life is not black and white. Life is full of rainbows, yes, but at that moment in time he needed the grey area where life was not threatening but "fuzzy" enough to add gentleness yet firm enough to add the structure necessary for them to safely return to themselves. It meant taking a tremendous leap of faith.
Being an accomplished concert musician and master of several instruments his heart told him to reach his children through what he most loved - music. Every evening before beginning dinner he went to each of his children's rooms with a different instrument. He began playing to them and teaching them to play.
It took time but they slowly came to know their father's spirited heart and themselves through his music. Then one day, he accepted a job playing a concert only the promoter asked if he had a "group." Yes he had a group and accepted the job.
Gathering his children together he told them they had a concert to perform. The kids of course protested that they had never played together and how could they pull this off with such short notice? "Marcus" grinned at them saying "Trust me we can play." They began putting together all the music he had taught them. Their closeness grew, the trust returned as did their weight. Their first concert ended with a rousting ovation and requests for future performances.
One of his sons now plays concerts all over the world, his daughter is an accomplished singer and the other two children are both very involved with music. But on this particular morning "Marcus" knew my spirits also needed healing. He opened his heart and wisdom to me by way of this story reminding me to stay centered and grounded in Creator. Do those things you love - do them with gratitude in your heart and everything else will heal itself. Thank you "Marcus" for sharing your spirit, your wisdom and a precious part of your life with me. What a treasure you are!
[[[[[[[TIMELY TIPS:
If you are new to Moppins Mail and want to catch up the past several issues, they are available on my blog. http://amazingcleaningtips101.blogspot.com/. Remember to check my blog weekly for updates and useful tips you may never need J
I'm going to veer off my usual home cleaning tips and get into some boat cleaning tips for my boating enthusiasts due to the numerous questions being asked about vinyl seat stains. Actually this applies to anyone with vinyl seats whether in your car, truck, RV or boat, whatever and where ever.
Remember "one" of my main rules on cleaning and care of anything is prevention. Stains become tremendously more difficult to remove when vinyl or leather is allowed to become dry. Dryness eventually leads to cracking, which leads to expensive replacement.
My Leather/Vinyl Care not only cleans but conditions as well. It will not leave a seat oily only soft and pliable. It cleans dirt deep into crevices and removes scum that most Leather/Vinyl cleaners won't touch. It removes most blue jean dye and even some ink. And you can dilute it with water for cleaning in-between deep conditioning!
Just remember after you remove a stain if you are using a general cleaner or something I recommend below, you must condition the seats afterwards or they will dry which will only lead to more difficulty later in cleaning them.
Some common boat stains involve: tree sap or leaves from trees; swimsuits or towels that have left a dye on the seats; spilled drinks, grease or oil and mold or mildew.
1) For tree sap or leaves; grease and oil including fried food or Fido's slobbering on the seats and heavy dirt. Usually most of these stains can be removed with foaming tub and tile cleaner either that made by Lysol or Dow. No I do not like this stuff in the shower or bathroom. It's completely useless there and an expensive way to clean. But for some reason those little foaming bubbles seem to remove these kinds of dirt and grime.
If you are dealing with oil or grease from perhaps your engine then try a foaming shaving cream. The gel won't work but sometimes the 3 kinds of alcohol in the foaming shaving cream will zap that stuff off without damaging the vinyl.
2) Dye from swimsuits, towels, red dye from food or drinks: I don't know that these stains will come out. Try pouring some baking soda on the stain then spraying that with hydrogen peroxide - a fresh bottle please. It will bubble and fizzle which helps sometimes to remove a stain. Do not leave this on longer than 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly. If that does not remove the stain leave it alone as anything else strong enough to remove the stain will "burn" the vinyl.
3) Mold and mildew: My CleanEz will kill mold and mildew to prevent it from worsening. However, once mold or mildew has been allowed to get a strong hold in either vinyl or leather, the stain itself usually will not come out. Try the method in #2 but I doubt if you can remove it.
4) Dirt and grime: Definitely my Leather/Vinyl Care is the best you can buy for cleaning regular dirt and grime.

[[[[[[[SHORT CLIPS: One of my readers had a postscript on a recent email that said "The truth is that there is no better time to be happy than right now -if not, then when?
Your life will ALWAYS be full of challenges....
It is better to admit as much and to decide to be happy in spite of it all....
There isn't any road to happiness...
HAPPINESS is the road"
