Monthly Specials:

NEW ARRIVALS: My new Advantage is now here! I asked the company to do the impossible which was to improve the formula. Many of my customers wanted an even deeper, richer more luxurious shine. Some complained that the old Advantage left white spots when accidentally sprayed on black surfaces. Others said some waxes they used streaked. They wanted the color of their vehicle to be strong and vibrant.

Well, take notice because that is just what we achieved! When other wax distributors asked to compare our new Advantage against their best, I had to ask them to back away from my truck because I didn't want their drool messing up my shine J.

And does the new formula really bring the shine out on Corian countertops!

The price for a 24 oz bottle is $24.95. Advantage now comes in a half gallon size, which is $43.

I still have a few cases of my current stock left. The shelf life is another 2 to 3 years yet. Generally $90 for a case, it is on super sale for only $65 - six bottles per case or just over a gallon of Advantage.

We also proudly present two NEW items:

1) RenewzIt, $20 per quart, removes swirl marks, heavy oxidation and water spot marks on paint leaving the surface smooth, slick and shiny with enhanced color. On windshields it removes impurities and coats the glass which makes bug removal quick and easy as well as sheeting rain. Use our TerraPlus to remove water spots on glass. TerraPlus does an excellent job cleaning engines and even removes grease on oil on driveways. It is environmentally safe yet a powerful industrial strength cleaner.

2) AlumiBrite, $33 per quart, cleans shines and removes oxidation from your aluminum wheels and metal surfaces. It even removed the discoloration from my front and back door knobs and has done the same thing with some gold plated faucets.

When you purchase all three products, you will receive a 20% discount. This will never be offered again and will run only through the month of March - just in time to show off your car for spring!

I do not have the old stock of Advantage in my garage sale page yet. If you want the old stock, and it's good, order a bottle of Advantage and in the comment section, tell me what quantity of the old stock you want to purchase. Discounts will be given before your card is processed.

Likewise I don't have the RenewzIt or AlumiBrite on the website either. Again order the Advantage but in the comment section let me know that you want. The new pages should be up by the next email

[[[[[[[GREETINGS]]]]]]]]

Please accept my apologies for not getting my newsletter out mid-February. My computer was blindsided by the Korean swat team and they did an excellent job of shutting me down.

If you receive any Korean or Chinese sp^m emails do not try to delete just that email. Highlight the email above it, hit your shift key and highlight the email below it, then delete all three emails at once. This nasty little email hijacks your computer leaving its own website and address bar implanted in your browser and all of your programs like Word, Excel, Access etc.

It does not come as an attachment - I know better than to open those. It starts the second you click on it and it will not allow you to delete it. That causes it to reopen itself. After several days dealing with this nightmare, I found a way to remove the website, but I still have not gotten all of the continuing problems resolved. My computer is crashing or it opens in safe mode and is running so slow it feels like I'm back to dial up service.

If any of you know how to solve these problems, please let me know. I'm running a Windows 2000 Professional and it does not have a way to reset the computer to a prior date. I did find a website that recommended several ways to get rid of the hijacker and did so, but my computer has not gotten back to normal yet.

And another word of warning, if you are planning to download a Microsoft program download their free trial first to make sure it will download to your computer. I made the mistake of not doing that with their Live One program and it took me 9 days, 13 emails and 4 phone calls to get a $50 refund. Had I downloaded their 30 day trial version first, that would have told me the program would not download thus avoiding this nightmare.

Since I have Microsoft Windows on my computer I stupidly assumed their programs would be compatible. I have never seen the likes of such incompetence. No one could tell me how to get it to download they kept sending me to FAQ webpages which of course had nothing to do with my problem. After three days of trying to find someone capable of answering a question, I started requesting a refund. Then I was sent to websites where Microsoft wanted me to spend $99 to get my $50 refund. I was given 7 wrong phone numbers, three of which I didn't call because it was the wrong department. Three customer service people sent me the same web-address they were emailing from and their department could not help me.

Hopefully this information may keep your bottle of Excedrin in the cabinet and your sanity intact J This trial I was put through was a pathetic showing for Microsoft. Maybe I ought to send this into Rosie O'Donnell. She and Donald Trump had quite a good go round a few weeks back. I wonder if she would take on Gates? Now there's an interesting idea.

 [[[[[[[TIMELY TIPS:

If you are new to Moppins Mail and want to catch up the past several issues, they are available on my blog. http://amazingcleaningtips101.blogspot.com/, which is updated several times a week so be sure to bookmark the spot.

The last two newsletters have covered selection of vacuum cleaners and basic carpet cleaning. Now let's tackle the really tough stuff - removing those stains.

Most of this information will always be on my website but in case you missed it, let's do a review of general stain removal and you can pick up specific stain removal on my site. My site has a fairly thorough removal guide. If you want the low down on cleaning dozens of stains on 7 different surfaces and clothing, check out my book "The Complete Idiots Guide to Cleaning."

Liquid spills: Got children? Got pets? Got major spills? Got a wet or dry vac or something similar? No? They are a blessing when it comes to major spills. Make sure to dump the contents of the vac before you fill it with liquids or the results will be a sticky smelly mess. Experience is such a great teacher - usually twice is enough to fully instill the dump the vac first idea J.

Directions: Immediately lay down a heavy weight bath towel while someone else grabs the wet or dry vac. Take your shoes and socks off and trod on the towel to absorb as much liquid as quickly as you can. Start at the outer edges of the towel tromping your way to the center. Besides soaking up the spill this will also tell you how far the spill spread and in what direction. When liquid hits the padding it spreads, so you need to find the outer edges of the stain.

Next: Check the stain removal guide on what cleaner to use to remove the stain. Start at the outer most edges of the stain. Remember you must pour enough cleaner on the spot to saturate to the padding otherwise the stain keeps returning. Work your way to the center of the stain.

By treating the stain from the outer edges of the stain to its center, the cleaner will further dilute the stain as it spreads. Have stain will travel so pack the right suitcase and you'll stay on top of further problems. Let that set for the specified amount of time on your cleaner. Our CleanEz does an excellent job removing most stains. It is also the best all purpose cleaner you can buy!

Again use your wet or dry vac and another terry towel to get out as much of the cleaner as possible. Rinse thoroughly with a mixture of one-half cup white vinegar per gallon of water. Blot and dry by placing a fan next to the stain so it blows across it. Yes even when it's cold outside.

For most other stains: Dampen the stain first with cool water - warm water will only set the stain. Then spray on CleanEz wait two to three minutes and blot. Do this by punching the first knuckle of your index finger into the towel dampened in a distilled white vinegar and water solution. 1 to 4 mixture. Then spray the spot with the vinegar/water mixture and blot again. Repeat if needed.
